ACHIEVEMENTS

Here is a glimpse of what I can achieve for your company.

In the past year as a Marketing and Event Coordinator for CREATE-X at Georgia Tech I have:


Increased # of Launch Applications:

Increased number of applications to the summer accelerator program from 250 to 347 (38.8%) through strategy with targeted content to smaller market segments and increased reach of students through events and social media.


Increased Social Media Following:

Facebook: Increased likes by 31% (429 to 562 likes)

Twitter: Increased followers by 110% (229 to 481 followers)

Instagram: Increased followers by 217% (120 to  381 followers) since June 2018


Increased Email Campaign Average Click Rate:

For Demo Day marketing, last year there was an average of a 26% open rate and a 2.54% click rate for the 5 emails sent out regarding Demo Day.


This year, the average open rate was 28.11% and the average click rate was 11.01% (increased by 423% compared to last year) over 19 different emails that were sent to different audience segments as part of an automation.


Created marketing personas for each college:

Met with faculty and marketing directors of other colleges and departments on campus to create personas for each student major and/or college. Gained a deeper understanding of what students in each department prioritized in their careers and education. Created targeted messages and events to raise amount of applicants from each department.


Increased number of event RSVP’s:

Increased number of RSVP’s to Demo Day from 1190 in 2017 to 1525 in 2018 (28.15% increase). Introduced a ticketing system with Eventbrite for 2019 and sold out on 1400 tickets with a waitlist of 164 people. 


Implemented use of CRM marketing automation tools:

Implemented use of Active Campaign by overseeing import of over 6,000 contacts and implementing automations for campaigns with multiple integrations.


Set SOPs for event coordination and event marketing:

CREATE-X holds 20 - 25 events a semester and each event targets a different market segment. I created SOPs for ensuring success in marketing for every recurring event.
